how to reduce generator fuel consumption

To reduce generator fuel consumption you will need to follow the following steps
·         Buy a clean fuel: what I mean by a clean fuel is an unadulterated fuel,  in developing countries  many people are selling fuels in black-market and can easily mix fuel with other substance to make more profits. ,my advice here is to buy fuel from only license fuel stations with clean records of selling clean fuels.
·         Use the correct fuel to engine oil ratio:  if you ran your  on fuel only  it burn faster and become otter and if you  add too much engine oil will may not run, therefore  use the correct fuel to oil ratio anytime you refuel your generator. Using little engine oil burns more fuel and this will increases your generator fuel consumption
·         Switch off on appliances not n use: if you are running a generator it is not like electric power, the  more the appliances you switch them on the more  the amount of energy they need , and the more fuel will burn therefore swift off , all appliance not in use when you are running a generator,
·          use an energy saving electric equipment: if the bulk of you r energy source  from generator you can repalace your  electric appliance with low –energy consuming  one,  there are bulbs , tv , refrigerators etc  that are energy savers, a qualified electrician should be able to tell you this
·         Avoid using high energy consuming appliances when you are off  grid: appliances like electric cookers, electric heater electric irons etc are high energy consuming, avoid using them until the mains power  is restored.
·         Fuel tap should not be open complete, close it abit and you will see that  you generators last longer.
